In case you missed it, Google is hosting an OpenSocial Summit next
Wednesday, May 14th, at the Googleplex in Mountain View, CA.
Representatives from most of the major containers will be present
including hi5, MySpace, orkut, and iGoogle. The official announcement
is posted here: http://opensocialapis.blogspot.com/2008/05/opensocial-summit-may-14th-at.html
In addition to covering the recent additions to version 0.8 of
OpenSocial (e.g. the REST-based API!), there will be plenty of
opportunities for brainstorming future improvements (like a templating
language and standard UI components). There will also be breakout
sessions covering introductory tutorials and specific topics like
Shindig and Caja.
The RSVP form is here: http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?key=pKy6PfiaRD2NIEhpx692Oaw
See you there!
Best,
Dan
